THE STORY
Anne is a strong female and in charge of the shipping company Paw Print, when women were thought to be property; when the ship she is on is taken over by what she thinks are pirates. Anne soon learns that her beloved cats' lives are in danger, she then must pull out all the stops to save them before it is too late. The captain of the privateers is used to doing as he pleases but is totally intrigued by this annoying beauty. Thomas doesn't recognize her colors when they vote to take the ship. Thomas wants Anne and sets out to teach her about her true place in the world and he thinks that is at his side, but Thomas has a lot to learn about Anne and the first thing is Anne is used to taking care of herself. There is a lot to these two coming together, and for these two forces when they clash it is anything, but smooth sailing on the high seas.
MY STORY
I started writing TRAPPED IN LOVE'S MAGIC SPELL as a junior in high school, because a teacher told me I had to do something in study hall, I couldn't just sit there. Twelve years and 4378 pages of hand written pages later I finished it. There was a lot of life in that twelve years: junior, senior in high school, graduating, working,college, getting an associate degree in psychology in 2000, in 1999 breaking both upper arm bones, recovering from that, but finally finishing it.
At the age of 40 I felt that it was time to publish Trapped In Love's Magic Spell book 1. I broke it down to more manageable novels for people to read. Now at 44, I'm releasing novel 1 the ships and hope it does well this time. I have lived in Maine most of my life, moved toAlaska for three years and now I live in New Hampshire. I think my book is different; my female character is strong and independent but also has a love for cats which I have.
